Home » Where to eat in Goa

If you are in Calangute, Goa, there is one restaurant you should not miss; not only for the gallery of contemporary art, but also for the choicest Goan and Continental dishes. It is a place known for its lovely ambience and it runs along with the small Kerkar Art Gallery (which is a free entry) in the South of Calangute. The entire art structure has been done by the same artist based on a sea theme offering an ethnic-Indian touch to it, and thus, keeps with his work. Perhaps the best place for Mussels cooked in White Wine and served in mussel shells. Though their menu list has limited items, the food tastes really delicious. In fact, when not too crowded they may even serve you with the dishes you wish which otherwise are not available on their menu. You must also try their Chicken in Cream, Spiced Beef and Okran preparations. The ambience is very pleasant and the service very professional and friendly. This is a much sought after place referred both by Indian and foreign tourists. It is a small restaurant in Calangute, but at the same time it is also known for its liveliness where people can chill out at length.
