Le Restaurant Français

The charming Le Restaurant Français is a five-season old French-speciality garden restaurant, owned by fun-loving Florence (who plays the role of a hostess to finesse), Morgan (the Chef) and Serge (Maitre d’Hotel) in the city of Goa. The trio had a pivotal role to play in the success of the restaurant. In addition to the exquisite, authenticated cuisine, particularly Tiger Prawn Carpaccio served with fresh Vanilla Oil, and Sardines on Phyllo Pastry filled with Mint Coulis, you are also welcomed with a slice of France in the form of an Eiffel Tower model. Don’t forget to try out Morgan’s special recipe Chocolate Cake that he once used at Airport Customs as baksheesh (bribe).
Once you are through with your decision on your feast and placed your order, you are quickly served with a complimentary mise en bouche as a pre-starter. However, if you are not sure about what you should try out first, you can always seek Morgan’s or Florence’s choice of dishes. For desserts, you can look forward to Morgan’s crème Anglaise, Fondant Tiede au chocolat or sorbet yaourt Basilic.
