“St. Anthony’s Bar & Restaurant” at Baga Beach is quite popular with tourists. It is one of the oldest restaurants and has a simple shack like ambience and some good food with friendly staff to serve you.
“Infantaria” in Calangute, near the football field, is a popular fast food restaurant for quick eat-outs and breakfasts. It is however known to serve good snacks, and meals too.
Just off the main road at Vagator is “Roberts Place”, it not only serves Italian and Chinese but offers delicious Goan delicacies.
“The banyan tree” is set in the gardens of the Taj Holiday Village serves superb seafood using fresh local fish and shellfish. It plays live music too and is place you should visit at least once when you are there in Goa.
“The Plantain Leaf” at Calangute is one of the most popular restaurants with the locals. This is a casual vegetarian restaurant and serves Udipi and North Indian desserts.

The “Alfama” at the Cidade de Goa, “Casa Portoguesa” at Baga, “Riorico” at the Hotel Mandovi and “Planter’s Restaurant” at Calangute serves excellent food and have an interesting ambience too. “Oceanic” is a multi-cuisine restaurant and good food and good ambience makes its clientele visit them time and again.
”Zeebop Restaurant” atUtorda Beach, is another amazing shack on Utorda beach in south Goa. Its known for its excellent food and great ambience.
“Florentine”, just before Saligao Church serves the best cafreal in Goa.
