Sunburnt in Goa
Another year is close to an end, but before reaching closure we must brace the glorious dawn and that which it brings with itself. By that I mean the much anticipated Sunburn Festival Goa 2010, a synergy of pulsating music, musicians, rebels, enthusiasts, beach mists and the inexorable spirit that docks the event. It’s a different world altogether.
Posing as an avant garde musical carnival, the event stretches across three days of non-stop high energy performances and psychedelic visual sets ups against the lapses of sand and lashing waves. Graced by the likes of Roger Sanchez, DJ Sultan and Armin van Buuren, the festival is a trance lover’s paradise. The scene of crime for the musical feast this year is locked at Candolim Beach, Goa.
Beyond the sets, people can fill up both their shopping carts and tummies in the wondrous experience zones set up by the partners.
Partnering with Percept, Nikhil Chinapa, DJ/VJ/MJ poses as the Festival Director and Host. The phenomenal Sunburn is after all his own inception. The DJ line up this year is a shush away from disclosure. Last year the Legend of Armin Van Buuren cast his infectious spell over a thriving audience. This year we can only anticipate it to get better.
Priced at Rs.3500 + taxes, the beach passes are fast disappearing into a void of eager music rebels. The early bid passes were sold out in a flash of 22 minutes. So buck up if you aren’t tone deaf and don’t intend on missing out on this one. This Sunburn’s gotta burn real bad!
